Lovingly ripped off from the 1975 film Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Winner of the 2005 Tony Award for Best Musical, Monty Python’s SPAMALOT, the musical comedy sensation lovingly ripped off from the film classic “Monty Python and The Holy Grail,” comes tothe Woolfe Street Playhouse to spread laughter and cheer throughout the kingdom. SPAMALOT tells the tale of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table as they embark on their quest for the Holy Grail. But before they can find their grail, they’re taking a little side-trip to the fair city of Charleston.
This whacky version of King Arthur’s quest for the Holy Grail showcases Monty Python’s signature hilarity–from flying cows, killer rabbits, and gorgeous showgirls to The Knights Who Say Ni and the irrepressible “Always Look on the Bright Side of Life.”
